Life/Health Insurance – Employer/employee contributory.
Health Insurance – Medical, Optical and Dental coverage within the plan with various respective limits. Coverage applies to both the employee and dependents of the employee, that is, spouse and children.
Compassionate leave – The company provides regular, full-time staff members with a bereavement leave of absence to arrange and attend a funeral and to see to the affairs of the estate of a deceased member of her or his immediate family.
CFL- scholarships, grants – Given to the highest scoring in the Common Entrance exams of children of CFL full time employees over one year’s continuous service, in supervisor positions or below.

Cashier
This person will provide prompt, friendly, reliable service and assistance to customers at the checkout stand, creating a unique and satisfying shopping experience that will exceed their expectations.
Courtesy Assistant
This person will provide friendly, courteous and helpful service and assistance to customers at the checkout stand, bag groceries, provide carryout service of customers purchases.
Deli Associate
This person will provide quality customer service by maintaining and operating the Delicatessen Department in an efficient manner within store policies. Proper performance of the duties and responsibilities of this position is essential to achieve and maintain healthful, sanitary, and suitable shopping conditions.
Grocery Associate
This person will provide quality customer service by keeping grocery items stocked throughout the grocery department. Proper performance of the duties and responsibilities of this position contributes to and ensures achievement of suitable shopping conditions.
Meat Associate
This person will provide quality customer service by keeping wrapping, packaging, and price-marking meat and related products as prescribed by the store and department standards; to execute functions in an efficient manner within store policies.
Meat Cutter
This person will provide quality customer service by cutting meat and preparing related products in the variety, size, quality, and trim prescribed by the store and department standards to execute functions in an efficient manner within store policies.
Produce Associate
This person will provide quality customer service by maintaining and operating the produce department including the trimming and preparation of the merchandise according to store and department standards. Proper performance of the duties and responsibilities of this position contributes to and ensures achievement of suitable shopping conditions.
Receiving Assistant
This person will provide quality service to the Grocery/HBC departments by keeping items received in an organized manner in the back store/warehouse. Assist some departments on stocking goods on shelves so as to provide a suitable shopping condition for our customers.
Sanitation Assistant
This person will provide quality customer service by maintaining a clean store/location facility. Proper performance of the duties and responsibilities of this position is essential to achieve and maintain healthy, sanitary, and suitable shopping conditions.
Recognizing the constant need for Training, Massy Stores (SLU) Ltd opened up the doors of its own training institute in 2005. Our employees gain in house training in the form of lectures, online courses, and on the job training where they get a full grasp and understanding of their job and its importance.The following are a few of the programmes being offered by the Training Institute.
Orientation – This is a three- day programme where new team members are inducted into the company and are privy to company information, rules and regulations, company philosophy, customer service training, health and safety, introduction to food and health, shrink management and supermarket safety.
Supervision Series – New Supervisor programmes as well as other Supervisory Programmes are held yearly to ensure the consistent development of our supervisors.
High Potential Employees Programme – A+ performers are chosen using a criteria list. These candidates must then successfully complete an eighteen-month programme which focuses on different leadership skills and competencies. At the end of the programme these employees may be considered for promotional opportunities.
Manager’s Development Programme –This programme is designed with the aim of ensuring that managers gain a skill set of leadership and selected competency skills. This is a three-part program which can be completed over a period of five years.

If you’re 16 and over, you can apply for entry-level positions at the stores such as Cashiers, Merchandising Associates, and Courtesy Assistants, during the Easter and Christmas school breaks.
