Where can I purchase a Gift Card?
Gift Cards are available for purchase at all Massy Stores (Trinidad) locations.
How do I purchase a Gift Card?
Gift Cards can be purchased (and activated) by a cashier at any Massy Stores location. A minimum value of fifty dollars ($50.00) is required for the activation of a Gift Card. Regular forms of payment accepted by Massy Stores are acceptable forms of payment for the purchase of Gift Cards. After activation, Gift Cards can be immediately redeemed only at Massy Stores.
Do I need Identification to use a Gift Card?
You are not required to present any form of Identification to use Gift Cards.
How do I use my Gift Card to pay for purchases?
At the time of purchase, inform the cashier that you are using a gift card to pay for your items. Your Gift Card will be scanned, and the appropriate value will be deducted.
Can I use my Gift Card to pay for more than one purchase?
Yes. You can use a portion, or all of the value loaded onto a Gift Card to pay for your purchases. When a desired value is deducted from your Gift Card at the time of purchase, any remaining balance may be used to make additional/future purchases.
Please note that Gift Cards cannot be redeemed for cash and no credit or change will be given on any unused portion.
Can my Gift Card be reloaded?
No, Gift Cards are subject to a single load, although they may be used for multiple purchases
What happens if I want to return items purchased with my Gift Card?
Any items purchased with a Gift Card are subject to our regular Massy Stores Refund Policy.
What happens if my Gift Card is stolen, lost or destroyed?
Gift cards are like cash, so if your Gift Card is stolen, lost, destroyed or altered in any way, the balance on the Gift Card is not replaceable. Therefore, please ensure that your Gift Card is stored securely.
When does my gift card expire?
All Gift Cards are valid from the date of purchase for a period of fifteen (15) months, unless either of the following occurs before that time:
a. All value loaded onto the Gift Card is used, or
b. There are six (6) months of inactivity and the value on the Gift Card is less than five dollars ($5.00).

What can I purchase with my Gift Card?

Do I get Massy Points when using a Gift Card?
Massy Points are issued when a Gift Card is used to buy items, not when the Gift Card is purchased.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR SALE AND USE OF GIFT CARDS
Unless otherwise specifically agreed or stipulated in writing by Massy Stores (Trinidad), a division of Massy Integrated Retail Ltd. (“Massy Stores”), these terms and conditions (“Policy”) represent the only conditions upon which Massy Stores shall sell any Massy Stores Gift Cards (“Gift Cards”) to Customers. Your purchase and use of a Gift Card is subject to this Policy. This Policy shall apply to the exclusion of all other terms and conditions expressed verbally or in writing at any time.
1. Purchase and Activation
Gift Cards are available for purchase at all Massy Stores Trinidad locations. Gift Cards have no value until loaded and activated by a cashier at a Massy Stores Trinidad location. A minimum value of Fifty Trinidad and Tobago dollars (TT$50.00) is required for the activation of a Gift Card. Regular forms of payment accepted by Massy Stores are acceptable forms of payment for the purchase of Gift Cards.
Your purchase and activation of a Gift Card shall be final and non-refundable. Customers are responsible for ensuring that the amount loaded and reflected on receipt are accurate.
2. Use
After activation, Gift Cards can be redeemed at any Massy Stores Trinidad location to pay for purchases. Customers will not be required to present any form of identification to use Gift Cards and should therefore ensure that Gift Cards are stored in a secure location.
Customers may use a portion or all of the value loaded onto a Gift Card to pay for purchases. Upon making a redemption request at the time of purchase, the desired value shall be deducted from your Gift Card and cancelled. Any remaining balance on the Gift Card will continue to be valid and may be used to make further purchases, subject to this Policy.
Gift Cards cannot be redeemed for cash and no credit or change will be given on any unused portion of a Gift Card. Gift Cards cannot be reloaded.
In the event that your Gift Card is stolen, lost or destroyed, or altered in a way as to obscure the bar code printed to the back of the Gift Card, the Gift Card is not replaceable, and any unused portion is not refundable.
3. Expiry
All Gift Cards are valid from the date of purchase for a period of fifteen (15) months, unless either of the following shall occur before the expiration of such period:
- All value loaded onto the Gift Card is used, or
- There are six (6) months of inactivity and the value on the Gift Card is less than five dollars ($5.00).
4. General
This Policy represents a binding contract between the Customer and Massy Stores and purchase and activation of Gift Cards shall constitute acceptance of these terms, and waiver of any right to reject them.
Massy Stores reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue the production of Gift Cards at any time. In the event that any of the aforementioned occurs, existing values on activated Gift Cards shall continue to be valid subject to the terms of this Policy. Massy Stores reserves the right to amend this Policy at any time without prior notice to the Customer. This Policy will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Trinidad and Tobago.

This Policy applies only to Gift Cards purchased in-store at any Massy Stores Trinidad location and is not applicable to Gift Cards purchased as a part of the Corporate Gift Card programme or gift card values uploaded to any Massy Loyalty Card.
